1970 Sapal TD Wrapping machine

The Sapal TD Wrapping machine is a high-performance packaging machine designed to wrap individual products with various types of packaging materials. It is commonly used in industries such as food, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, and personal care to automate the wrapping process, ensuring efficient and consistent packaging of goods. This one in specific was used to wrap chocolate bars.

We have so far wrapped with about 15-20 pieces per minute, that the wraps are nicely folded and glued.

The machine was reconstructed, adjusted and overhauled from July 2015 to December 2016 and its vacuum pump got replaced in October 2017.

The electronics were rebuilt, the gluing station was renewed and attached accordingly, and the drive technology inside was revised and adapted to today's requirements.

Format of the packaged product: 72 x 153mm = 100g chocolate bars
