These speeds based on medium motor speed 950 rpm (50 Hz mains frequency). At 60 Hz the balance speeds are 20% higher.

With consideration to adjustability of measuring device corresponding to geometric dimensions of rotors, the value G n squared equals 450 x 10 to the 6th power kgm squared per min squared should not be exceeded. This limit applies approximately symmetrically between bearing stands for rigid rotors. For dynamic alignment of elastic rotors and for stiffness control, this value can be increased.
