The Retrovit 2001 included the following measures:

 Power increase from 1000T to 1400T

 New piston rods in ground and chrome-plated design

 Installation of a new shear

 Completely new mould slide

 Hydraulics: Replacement of the control, regulating and safety valves. Completely new pipework

 Completely new switch cabinet, control panel, length measuring system and control system (Siemens S7-300)

 Complete punching device (now scrapped!)

 Reworked recipient holder

 New recipient
