Carton Erector Function: A carton feeder with vacuum suckers takes flat carton blanks individually off the magazine and places them centrally onto the lower tool part. A forming head pushes the blanks through the tool chute and the cartons are formed. The erected cartons fall onto a conveyor and are transported out of the erector area. Can be used as a stand-alone unit or integrated into packaging lines. Standard equipment includes a quick-change magazine and fixed-format parts for fast tool change

Tab-Lock Tool Function: The forming head pushes the blank through the forming chute. The carton is formed and the hooks are pulled through the window with the help of a knife. This technique is fast,proper and very reliable, and the formed carton remains flexible and easy to fill.

Angle Closer Function: The carton is fed into the continuously running WVE closer with a pneumatically driven pawl in-feed. The upright standing lid is bent down and glue is applied on the front flap, which is bent and pressed on. The carton is turned by 90 degrees in the angle section and transferred onto the downstream transport conveyor. Glue is applied on the lateral flaps, which are bent and pressed on, completing the closure. The angle section provides a space-saving layout and allows handling of cartons in very long or disproportionate formats. Driven upper belts with lateral press-on rolls facilitate correctly angled closure. A spring system for the press-on rolls allows secure handling of bulged cartons
