Type of machine: Plastics washing line and extrusion line for recycling of plastic waste, consisting of two washing lines and one extruder line

Capacity, LDPE: 1.3 t/h across 2 lines (0.65 t/h per line) at 25 micron film thickness; 2 t/h across 2 lines (1 t/h per line) at 40 micron film thickness

Capacity, HDPE and PP: 4 t/h across 2 lines

Annual capacity: approximately 8000 tons of rigid plastics, or 3200 tons of plastics film, can be washed and reconditioned per year, by one shift

Extruder throughput: 1.5 t/h for LDPE, 1.8 t/h for HDPE and PP

Energy consumption, washing line: 0.86 kWh per kg product for LDPE, 0.3 kWh per kg product for HDPE and PP

Energy consumption, extruder: 0.28 kWh per kg product

Water consumption: maximum 2.5 litres per kg product for each polymer

Washing lines: two parallel washing lines with the opportunity to wash with hot water (70-80 degrees C)

Equipment:

• Shredder: Weima P FC 3000 PL, new, one item, shreds incoming plastic material
• Pre-washer: Amut DECVA/2T, 2 units, performs initial washing of the material
• Wet grinder: Bruno Folcieri MU120/50/83, grinds material during wet processing
• Friction washer: Amut AX100/5, washes material through friction
• Turbo washer: Amut TR-600, provides further washing of the material
• Centrifuge and filtration: Andritz ACZ9-3 CENSOR Decanter, separates and filters washed material
• Storage: Terbrac, various sizes, stores processed material
• Extruder: Comac EBC120 HT Corotating Twin Screw Extruder, processes washed plastic into pellets
• Extruder line filtration: fitted with a downstream filter (100/180 microns), including Ettlinger filter ERF500 and Gneuss C01
• Mixing silos: Ariostea MHS SILMI55, used for mixing and storage of material
• Big bag station: Amut Double Big-bag Station INBIG, used for big bag filling
• Waste water treatment: Depur Padana Acque waste water treatment system

Output: pellets are a standardised industrial commodity for manufacturing new plastic products; washed and dried plastic flakes can also be taken out before extrusion
