YEAR OF MANUFACTURE: 1979. Complete general overhaul in 2019.

MACHINE: Multi-block wire drawing line with 11 drawing blocks, a dancer and a spooler. It reduces the diameter of round wire.

CONDITION: Used, generally overhauled in 2019. The dancer was built new in 2019.

WIRE MATERIAL: Round wire with high carbon content.

INLET WIRE DIAMETER: Maximum 2.6 mm.

FINISHED WIRE DIAMETER: Minimum 0.55 mm, depending on the inlet diameter.

MAXIMUM PRODUCTION SPEED: 18 m/s at the finished wire (block 11).

DRAWING MACHINE:

Block 1: overhead (over-head payoff), two die boxes, draw pulley diameters 298.4 mm and 348.7 mm, elongation 16.8 percent, regulated by fill level with proximity sensors.

Blocks 2 to 11: straight-line drawing. Draw pulley diameter 350 mm, block 11 450 mm.

Blocks 2 to 4: tension control. Blocks 5 to 10: regulated by the dancer. Block 11: master block. All other blocks and the spooler follow its speed by software.

Draw pulley cooling and die cooling with water, separate water connections.

Control: Siemens S7-400 with Siemens operator panel.
