Complete Reel-to-Reel (R2R) LED Strip SMT Production Line

TYPE OF MACHINE: Complete reel-to-reel (R2R) production line for flexible LED strips, with a solder paste printer, pick and place machine, soldering oven, circuit tester, cutting system, cleaning system and all supporting equipment.

HOW THE LINE WORKS: Rolls of flexible film (flex foil) are loaded into the input module and transported through the individual modules. The film is printed, populated with components, soldered and tested. The finished, functional LED strips are cut to specific lengths and wound onto output spools. The line can be converted for other film materials with change kits.

LINE MODULES (db-matik):

Input module with spooler, strip buffer and splicing point for joining a new roll to the previous one.

Indexer for the Siplace placement process, with vacuum suction of the film and hitch feed drive. A camera detects the markers on the film.

Tester and strip buffer. The film is contacted with spring contacts and all circuits are measured. Errors are saved to a file, so the fault location on the film can be viewed. Interchangeable test plates for products of 8 mm or 15 mm.

Output module with hitch feed, splicing point and spooler with numbered spools and spool trolley.

Connection values of the handling line: 230 V AC, 1,200 W, compressed air 5.5 bar. Noise level below 70 dB(A).
