Functional Description of the System

The magnesium ingots are pushed under a drying oven using a depalletizer, where they are dried and preheated slightly to eliminate any residual moisture. The preheated magnesium ingots are then transferred via a chute to a pneumatic discharge unit and are subsequently fed in pairs to the converter, which leads to the melting furnace. The molten magnesium is supplied to the casting furnace via a transfer system. Depending on the requirements of the die-casting machine, the molten magnesium is accurately dosed from the casting furnace using a dosing pump in precise portions.
